Atmosphere

| evaporation | the process by which a liquid, such as water, changes into a gas |
| transportation | the process by which plants release water vapor into the atmosphere |
| crystallization | the process by which a liquid turn into a crystalline solid |
| water cycle | when water moves from earth's surface to the atmosphere and back again |
| latitude | the distance in degrees north or south of the equator |
| troposphere | the lowest layer of the atmosphere where humans and plants live. |
| stratosphere | the layer above the troposphere that contains the o-zone layer |
| o-zone | a region of Earth's stratosphere that absorbs most of the suns ultraviolent radiation |
| air mass | a large body of air with generally uniform temperature and humidity |
| weather front | a transition zone between two different air masses at Earth's surface |
