1. Solar system The collection of planets and other celestial objects that orbit around the sun.
2. Sun The star at the center of our solar system that provides heat and light.
3. Planet A large celestial body that orbits a star, does not produce its own light.
4. Mercury The smallest planet in our solar system.
5. Venus The second planet from the sun.
6. Earth The third planet from the Sun our home planet where life exists.
7. Mars The fourth planet from the Sun.
8. Jupiter The largest planet in our solar system known for its massive size.
9. Saturn The sixth planet from the Sun, famous for its spectacular ring system.
10. Uranus The seventh planet from the Sun knowing for its sideways rotation.
11. Neptune The sixth planet from the sun known for its deep blue color
12. Orbit The path and object follows as it revolves to another object.
13. Rotation The spinning of an object around its axis.
14. Revolution The motion of an object as a travels in an epileptical path.
15.Moon I'm natural satellite that orbits a planet.
16. Satellite An object that orbits a larger body such as a planet.
17. Asteroid Rocky objects that orbit the Sun primarily found between Mars and Jupiter.
18. Comet An object composed of ice dust and gas that orbits the sun in elongated orbit.
19. Meteor A small rock from space that enters best atmosphere often called a shooting star.
20. Meteorite A meteor that lands on Earth's surface.
21. Galaxy A huge collection of star, dust and gas.
22. Star A massive sphere which emits light and heat.
23. Nebula A cloud of gas and dust in space where stars are born.
24. Gravity The force of attraction between objects and mass.
25. Eclipse When one object moves into the shadow of another object such as a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse.
26. Phase The apparent shape of the moon seen from Earth which changes.
27. Constellation A group of stars that form a recognizable pattern in the sky.
28. Light year The distance that light travels in one year.
29. Spacecraft A vehicle designed for travel in outer space.
30. Solar flare A sudden and intense burst of energy from the sun's surface.
31. Space probe An unmanned spacecraft designed to explore outer space.
32. Outer space The vast expanse beyond Earth's atmosphere.
33. Pluto A dwarf planet located in a distant region of our solar system beyond Neptune.
34. Goldilocks planet A planet is the right distance from its sun to allow temperatures for liquid not too hot not too cold.
35.Galileo An Italian astronomer who discovered that the sun not the earth was the center of the solar system.
36. Telescope An optical instrument designed to make distant objects appear nearer.
