| Gravity | the force that attracts an object towards the center of the Earth or toward any other physical body having mass |
| Force | push or pull applied to an object |
| Push | to use force to move someone or something away from you |
| Pull | To hold onto and move someone or something towards yourself |
| Friction | force that opposes movement between touching surfaces and always acts against the direction of motion |
| Mass | the measurement of the amount of matter something contains |
| Weight | the measurement of the pull of gravity of an object |
| Motion | the action or process of moving or of changing place or position; movement |
| Inertia | matter's resistance to change in motion |
| Speed | the rate at which someone or something moves or travels |
| Position | the place where someone or something is in relation to other people or things |
| Axis | the two perpendicular lines on a coordinate grid. Horizontal axis is called the X. The vertical axis is called the Y |
| Unbalanced Force | forces that are not equal causing an object to move or change motion |
| Acceleration | the rate at which the speed of a moving object changes over time |
| Direction | a course along which someone or something moves |
