Circadian Cycles When the body naturally changes some set points to different values at different times of the day.
Homostatic Control Mechanisims Processes for maintaining or restoring homeostasis.
Biomolecule A natural atom delivered by cells and living life forms.
ATP Is the form of energy that cells generally use.
Osmosis The diffusion of water through a selective permeable membrane.
Transcription Double stranded DNA molecules separates or unwinds.
Catalyst A chemical that reduces the amount of activation energy needed to start a chemical reaction.
Epithelial Tissue Covers and protects the body surface, lines body cavities, specializes in moving substances into and out of the body or particular organs and forms many glands.
Matrix Extracellular material that cells are surrounded by or embedded in.
Scar A dense fibrous mass.
