| landform | a naturally-formed feature on the the surface of Earth, such as a coastline,dune,or mountain |
| pathway | how water moves on land due to gravity |
| precipitation | any form of water that falls from clouds and reaches Earth's surface as rain,snow,sleet,or hail |
| runoff | water that flows over the ground surface rather that soaking into the ground |
| transpiration | evaporation of water from the leaves of a plant |
| water cycle | the continual movement of water among Earth's atmosphere,ocean,and land surface through evaporation,condensation,and precipitation |
