Analyze and Interpret Experiments
| Term | Definition |

| Experimental Variables | An aspect of the experiment that changes during the course of the experiment. |
| Control | The portion of an experiment that you are not changing. |
| Surface Tension | A thin film that stretches across the surface of every liquid. |
| Blind Study | Experiments in which the participants do not know whether they are a part of the control group. |
| Double Blind Study | Experiments in which neither the participants nor the people analyzing the results know who is in the control group. |
| Pain Threshold | The point at which a person become aware of pain. |
| Subjective | Data being collected depending to some extent on the opinions of people. |
| Objective | Data where there is no way opinion can affect the experiment. |
| Dissolve | When a substance seems to disappear into another. |
| Independent Variable | Variable that is change. |
| Dependent Variable | Variable affect by the change. |
| Solution | A mixture when one or more solutes dissolve in a solvent. |
| Solute | The lesser amount in a solution. |
| Solvent | The larger amount in a solution. |
| X Axis | The horizontal line in a coordinate system |
| Y Axis | The vertical line in a coordinate system |
