Seasons

TermDefinition
Axis an imaginary line that runs through the centre of an object around which it turns.
Rotation an object spinning
Revolve to go around a central point, like the earth does around the sun
Tilt a position where one end of an object is higher than the other(symmetry)
Seasons any of the four periods of the year
Hemisphere A half of the earth, especially one above or below the equator.
Equator an imaginary line around the earth at an equal distance from the north and south 'poles'
Orbit a curved path followed by a planet or an object as it revolves around a planet, star, moon, etc.
Ellipse an oval shaped path followed by an object
Moon phase One of the times in which the moon is seen at a certain amount.
Full moon when we can see the Whole moon
Gibbous when most of the moon is visible(85%
