-io verbs of the 3rd conjugation have some forms like the 3rd conjugation & some forms like the 4th conjugation
The endings of the 1st & 2nd principal parts of -io verbs are always -io and -ere.
Whenever the ENDINGS of the 4th conjugation begins with 2 vowels, -io verbs use the endings of the 4th conjugation; otherwise they use the endings of the 3rd conjugation.
capio, capere, cepi, captus, 3rd, tr take, capture
fugio, fugere, fugi, fugiturus, 3rd, tr flee
facio, facere, feci, factus, 3rd, tr do, make
voluntas, voluntatis good will, will
iter facere to march
iter fecerunt they marched
consilium capere to make a plan
consilium novum ceperunt they made a new plan
Verbs of "making" may take a direct object AND a predicate adjective.
With fides, voluntas, & similar words, IN w/ an accusative case object means towards.

quam (interrogative adv of degree) how? (as in "to what degree"; how high, how long, how deep, etc.)

eripio, eripere, eripui, ereptus, 3, tr take away, save (from)
nihil (indeclineable noun) nothing
After eripio, the English word "from" is translated into Latin as "ex" (or e), w/ an ablative object.

accipio, accipere, accepi, acceptus, 3, tr receive, accept
conficio, conficere, confeci, confectus, 3, tr finish, wear out
