| Condensation | the change of state from a gas to a liquid |
| Crystallization | when water freezes and collects in frozen form |
| Density | the measurement of how tightly a material in packed together |
| Earth Systems | the four main physical systems on the earth- hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere, biosphere |
| Fog | a cloud at ground level |
| Geosphere | all of the rock at and below the Earth's surface ( crust, mantle, and core ) |
| Glacier | any large mass of ice that moves slowly over land |
| Groundwater | water that fills the cracks and spaces in underground soil and rock layers |
