Weather Part 1

TermDefinition
Atmosphere A thin layer of glasses surrounding earth
Biosphere Part of earth in which life exists including land, and air above earth
Clouds A mass of tiny water droplets or ice crystals that floats in the air above
Condensation The change in state from gas to liquid
Crystallization When water freezes and collects in frozen form
Density The measurement of how tightly a material is packed together
Earth systems The four main systems of earth- hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere,and biosphere
Fog A cloud at ground level
Geosphere All of the rock at and below the Earth's surface (crust, mantle, and core)
Glacier Any large mass of ice that moves slowly over land
