| precipitation | any form of water that falls from clouds and reaches earths surface as rain, snow, sleet, or hail |
| run off | water that flows over the ground surface rather than soaking into the ground |
| Transpiration | evaporation of the water from the leaves of a plant |
| water cycle | the coutinual movement of the water among the earths atmosphere,oceans,and land surface through evaporation, condensation, and precipitation |
