Meteorologist A scientist who studies the weather.
Weather Instrument A tool used to measure the weather.
Cirrus Clouds Wispy and white clouds at high altitude.
Stratus Clouds Gray clouds that cause mist or light rain.
Cumulus Clouds Puffy white clouds.
Nimbostratus Clouds These clouds bring rain.
Cumulonimbus Clouds Anvil shaped clouds that cause heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Air Pressure The weight of air pressing against Earth.
Low Pressure This system brings precipitation, warmer temperatures and moist air.
High Pressure This system brings cool, dry air.
Temperature how hot or cold it is
Humidity The amount of moisture in the air.
