| Shield Volcano | lower, gentle, calm erupting volcano that has basalt rock |
| Thin lava | quick moving lava, basalt |
| Thick lava | slow moving lava, felsite |
| Root-Wedging | Seed grows in the crack of a rock. It grows roots and breaks the rock even more |
| Ice-Wedging | Water freezes in the crack of a rock and breaks the rock even more |
| Landslide | Rolling rock down a steep hill or mountain caused by rain and loose rocks |
| Rounder rocks | Rocks found at the bottom of a mountain, smoothed as it tumbles down |
