Placenta a vascular structure that allows the fetus in utero to absorb oxygen and nutrients and excrete carbon dioxide
Polyhydramnios Too much amniotic fluid.
Postpartum pertaining to after labor is completed
Primigravida a woman who is pregnant with her first child
Pudenda external genitals of a female
Puerperal sepsis another term for childbed fever or death following childbirth
Puerperium the six week period after childbirth where the uterus goes back to it's earlier nonpregnant condition
