When does fermentation occur? Anaerobic due to lack of oxygen

What occurs during cytokinesis? Cytoplasm divides
What is the purpose of mitosis? Make body cells
How does the end result of mitosis compare with the end result of meiosis? Mitosis: 2 diploids; Meiosis: 4 haploids
What is a chromosome made of? 2 chromatids
What is the difference between cancer cells and normal cells? Cancer cells divide uncontrollably
What are homologous chromosomes? Chromosomes with same gene (one maternal and one paternal)
What is meiosis? Division of cells to make gametes
How many chromosomes are in a human gametes? 23
How many chromosomes are in human body cells? 46
What is the correct order for the cell cycle? Interphase (g1, s, g2), prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, cytokynesis
