What happens when you mix a solid into a liquid if there molecules are attracted to each other the solid will dissolve. if not they will cluster together and form sediment.
Why does sugar dissolve in water but pepper doesn't sugar is soluble in water because there molecules are attracted to each other so they mix evenly. however I know that sugar is still there because the water tasted sweet. pepper is not soluble in water because I could see clumps of pepper in the water aft
