Water & Weather Patterns Unit

TermDefinition
atmosphere An invisible layer of gases that surrounds Earth and a few other planets and moons.
average A representative value for a set of data.
climate A long-term (30+ years) pattern of weather.
forecast A short-term (hours, days) prediction of future weather.
meteorologist A scientist who uses tools and data to study the weather.
weather The day to day conditions in the atmosphere in a certain location.
