Tissue A group of similar cells that performs a specific function
Organ A structure made-up of different tissues that performs more complex functions then the tissues that make it up could perform alone
Radial symmetry Symmetry with which many lines of symmetry can be drawn that create mirror images
Bilateral symmetry Symmetry with which one line of symmetry can be drawn that creates halves that are mirror images
The 3 levels of higher structure in which animal cells are organized. The organization of an animal cells into higher levels of structure, including tissues, organs, and organ systems, helps to describe an animal's body plan.
The meaning of asymmetrical body type and an animal example Asymmetrical body type is a body type with which no lines of symmetry can be drawn. An example of an animal with an asymmetrical body type is a sponge.
The meaning of radial body symmetry and an animal example Radial body symmetry is a body type with which many lines of symmetry can be drawn that create mirror images
