DNA Material that transfers genetic characteristics from parents to offspring
Gene Part of DNA that transfer genetic characteristics from parents to offspring
Chromosome One of the rod-shaped or thread-like DNA containing bodies of a cell nucleus that contain all or most of the genes of an organism that can be seen especially during cell division
allele A dream that has two or more variations
Inheritance What you get from your parents or grandparents or someone else in genetics that the traits that you get from your parents
Trait variation Differences in the traits that are inherited
Dominant traits A genetic trait that is stronger than the other trait you inherit from your parents and therefore you will have that trait
Recessive trait A genetic trait that will only be senior genetics if both parents give you the recessive trait
Physical trait An observable characteristics that is determined by your genes
Nucleus The brain of the cell
cell Basic structural and functional unit of all known living organisms
