Decency: proper behavior, as in speech, actions, and dressExample: Mary had the decency to admit she made a mistake.
Mournful: feeling, expressing, or filled with grief or sorrowExample: The mournful song on the radio made the listeners feel sad.
Bulletin Board: A board for posting notices, announcements, and pictures.The teacher uses a bulletin board to report all class events.
Delivering: Taking or carrying something to a particular place or person.Example: My job is delivering groceries to people’s homes.
Shrieks: Makes loud, shrill cries or sounds.Example: My little sister shrieks when I tickle her.
Injury: Damage or harm done to a person or thing.Example: Luckily, Roberto’s football injury was not serious.
Slurp: To drink or eat noisily. Example: It is impolite to slurp soup, especially in public.
Sympathy: The ability to share the feelings of another or others.Example: I felt great sympathy for Jim because I knew what it felt like to have my feelings hurt.
