Kingdom The second broadest group when classifying organisms.
Microscope A tool used to see small objects or organisms.
Mitochondrion The organelle that does cellular respiration; it provides the cell with energy.
Multicellular More than one cell big.
Nucleus Holds the genetic material (DNA).
Organelle A part of a cell that does a specific job.
Photosynthesis The process by which a plant makes its own food.
Prokaryote An organism that does not have a cell with a nucleus.
Prokaryotic cell A cell without a nucleus.

Ribosome The organelle that helps make proteins by joining amino acids together.
