| conduction | the transfer of heat from a warmer object to a cooler object through direct contact |
| convetion | movment in a gas or liquid in Which the warmer parts move up and cooler parts move down |
| electromagnetic waves | Waves traveling through space carrying electromagnetic radiant energy. |
| conductor | A matirial that is good at transmitting energy or electricity |
| insulater | a matiral that allows littel to no heat, electricity, or sound to go into or out somthing |
| radiation | energy that comes from a source in the form of waves or rays you cannot see |
| tepmpruture | a meshurment that indicats how hot or cold somthing is |
| transfer | to move somthing or someone from on place to another |
| Expand | to make somthing bigger / increassing |
| contract | the act of shrinking growing smaller |
