| Water Cycle | |
| Evaporate | to pass off or cause to pass off into vapor from a liquid state. 2. : to pass off or away : disappear. |
| Condensation | the process where water vapor becomes liquid. |
| Runoff | Runoff is precipitation that does not soak into the soil but instead moves on the Earth's surface toward streams. |
| Meteorologist | a specialist who studies processes in the earth's atmosphere that cause weather conditions. |
| Cirrus | a thin white cloud usually of tiny ice crystals formed at altitudes about 20,000 to 40,000 feet (6,000 to 12,000 meters) |
| Stratus | a low cloud form extending over a large area at altitudes of usually 2000 to 7000 feet (600 to 2100 meters) |
| Nimbus | rain clouds, or clouds that carry significant amounts of precipitation. |
| Cumulus | detached, individual, cauliflower-shaped clouds usually spotted in fair weather conditions. |
| Air Mass | a large body of air with generally uniform temperature and humidity. |
| Weather | he state of the air and atmosphere at a particular time and place |
| Climate | Climate is the long-term pattern of weather in a particular area. |
| Forecast | a statement saying what the weather will be like the next day or for the next few days. |
