| digestion | the process by which your body breaks down food into small nutrient moloesules |

| nephron | small filtering strucure in the kidneys that removes waste from blood and produces urine |

| synapse | the junction where one neuron ca transfer an impulse to another neron. |

| brain | the part of the center nervous system that is loceted in the skull |
