| heat transfer | the movement of energy from a warmer object to a cooler object. |
| convetion | the movement caused within a fluid by the tendency of hotter and therefore less dense material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which consequently results in transfer of heat |
| convection current | Heat movement in a fluid material. Responsible for the movement of the Earth's Plates. |
| density | degree of consistency measured by the quantity of mass per unit volume |
