Types of Characters

TermDefinition
protagonist main character or hero
antagonist villan who caused the conflict
minor characters less important character that might help with events or main characters
characters traits personality traits that a character shows like brave and lucky
round round characters are well-developed with many character traits
flat characters who are not well-developed, few character traits and usually minor character
dynamic a character who encounters conflict and changes usually personality or attitude
static a character who does not change and these characters are consistent from beginning to end
