Matter

| Matter | anything that has mass and takes up space |
| mixture | A combination of two or more substances |
| Gas | Fills the room, Changes shape, invisible, and has space between molecules |
| Evaporation | When water heats up and turns into water vaper |
| Condensation | When water vapor cools and turns into water droplets |
| Water cycle | the cycle that water is through |
| Precipitation | Any form of water that falls (snow, hail, rain) |
| Quantitative | using tools for matter |
| Solid | Hard, keeps it's own shape, visible and has n space between molecules |
| Run-off | Water flows over land |
| Qualitative | Using all five senses looks like, tastes like, smells like, sounds like, and feels like |
| Physical change | A change in size, shape, and texture |
| Humidity | the amount of water vapor in the air |
| Water vapor | Water that is evoported |
| Collection | Water collects in rivers, oceans, puddles, lakes etc |
| Liquid | Can be poured, changes shape, visible, and is space between molecules |
| Transpiration | Is water vapor from plant leaves (plant sweat) |
| Chemical change | A change that is not revsible |
