Matter

| Matter | Anything that has mass and takes up space. |
| Humidity | The amount of water vapor in the air. |
| Qualitative | Data-uses senses |
| Quantitative | Data- uses tools to measure matter |
| Evaporation | When its hot water heats up and turns to water vapior |
| Runoff | Precipitation that flows accros the lands surface or flows into rives, steams, or collection areas. |
| Gas | -Fills the room -changes shape -space between molecules Examples : steam |
| Condensation | Is when water vapor cools down and turns to water droplets. |
| Water vapor | Water in form of a gas |
| Chemical change | A change that produces new substance |
| Precipitation | Any form of water that falls to the ground. |
| Mixture | A combination of 2 or more substances |
| Liquid | -can be poured - changes shape - space between molecules viable Example : water |
| Solid | -hard - has shape - no space between molecules Example : Ice - visable |
| Transpiration | Water vapor is released from plant leaves ( pants sweat) |
| Collection | Water collects in rivers, streams, oceans, puddles. |
| Water cycle | The water cycle is the recycling of water heat and earth and atmosphere. |
| Physical change | A change in size, shape or texture |
