moon phase A moon phase is the shape of moon's sunlit portion as seen from Earth
gravity the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.
penumbra the partially shaded outer region of the shadow cast by an opaque object.
umbra the fully shaded inner region of a shadow cast by an opaque object.
solar eclipse A solar eclipse happens when, at just the right moment, the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth.
tides the rise and fall of the sea that happens twice every day:
lunar eclipse lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, causing the Moon to be darkened
eclipse An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object or spacecraft is temporarily obscured,
spring tide a tide just after a new or full moon, when there is the greatest difference between high and low water.
neap tide a tide just after the first or third quarters of the moon when there is least difference between high and low water.
