What is an Epicenter? An Epicenter is the spot on the earth's surface above the foucs.
where does the Focus happen at? The focus happens at the bottom of an epicenter.
What is a Fault? A fault is where cracks in the earth's surface where two plates meet.
How fast does a p-wave go? A p-wave goes 5 miles per hour.
What does a s-wave look like if we could see them above the ground? It looks like a slenky or a snake.
What does the letter L mean in l-waves? L means love or last.
What is Richter scale? A Richter scale can measure the amount of the energy released by a earth.
What is Mercalli scale? A Mercalli scale is the measurement of the amount of damage done by the quake.
What is are Quake Relaed Risks? A Quake Relaed Risks are fires,broken water, and firefighters helpless!
Why is it called the Ring of fire? It is called the ring of fire because it is made out of valcanos.
What does Seismic mean? Seismic means earthquake.
What is Quake predictors? Some are changes in the elevation or tile of the land,and surfaces rock conducting more electricity.
