Organism : a living thing.
cell : A basic unit of structure and function in living things.
Unicellular : Made of single cell.
Multicellular : Consisting of many cell.
stimulus : Any change or signal in the environment that can make an organism react in some way.
Response : An action or change in behavior that occurs as a result of a stimulus.
Spontaneous generation : The mistaken idea that living things arise from nonliving sources.
Homeostasis : the condition in which an organism's internal environment is kept stable in spite of changes in the external environment.
Characteristics : a feature that helps to identify something.
Microscope : an instrument that makes small objects look larger.
Cell theory : a widely accepted explanation of the relationship between cell and living things.
Distinguish:1 To manage to recognize something you can barely see 2) to point out a difference.

hand lens : a magnifying glass designed to be held in the hand.
