what are rod-shaped (bacillus)? bacillus is a genus of gram-positive, rod-shaped bacteria that includes both free-living and pathogenic species
what are spiral-shaped (spirochaete)? spirochaetes belong to a phylum of distinctive gram-negative bacteria, which has long, helically coiled cells
