Atropine

| MOA | Decreases legal tone therefore increasing SA automaticity and AV conduction |
| Uses | Symptomatic bradycardia |
| Contraindications | Obstructive GI disease, liver disease, asthma, 2nd degree type 2 HB, 3rd degree HB |
| Adverse effects possible | V-fib, v-tach, and worsen areas of infarction |
| WARNING | Small doses and slow push may initially decrease HR |
| Adult dose | 1 mg, every 3-5 minutes, MAX 3 mg |
| Atropine for 18 kg child | 0.5 mg IV/IO |
| Atropine for 18-40 kg child | 1 mg |
