MOA depresses limbic system, thalamus, and hypothalamus resulting in calming effects
Contraindications Acute alcohol toxicity, pregnancy (except eclampsia), and neonates
Possible adverse side effects Respiratory depression/arrest, bradycardia, and hypotension
