What is the purpose of tendons? To attach muscle to bone
What is osseous tissue? Bone tissue
What does medial and lateral mean? Toward the midline Away from the midline
What is the function of ribosomes? To carry out the process of producing protein
Where are proteins modified and packaged? Golgi Apparatus
What are the 3 types of matrix fibers? Collagen, Elastic, Reticular
What are the layers of skin? Dermis & Epidermis
What Layers make up the epidermis? stratum corneum, stratum lucidum, and stratum granulosum
The difference between sodium and potassium in the generation of action potential is that... sodium causes depolarization of the cell membrane, and potassium causes repolarization of the cell membrane.
