Epithelial tissue tissue type that covers the body and its parts; lines various parts of the body; forms continuous sheets taht contain no blood vessels; classified according to shape and arrangement

ectoderm outermost of the primary germ layers that develops early in the frist trimest of pregnancy; gives rise to the skin adn the nervous systerm

anatomical position the standard reference position for the body; stand with arms hanging at sides with palms forward, gives meaning to the terms [ana- apart, -tom- cut, -ical- realting to, posit- place, -tion state
anterrior front, or ventral; oppositer of posterior
posterior located behind; opposite of anterior
sagittal planes longgitudinal plane that divides the body or a part into let and rides sides
coronal planes frontal plane; divides the body into front and back positions
osteogenesis combined action of osteoblasts and osteoclasa to mold bones into adult shape
perichondrium fibrous covering of cartialge structures
