Indication STEMI in conjunction with fibrinolytic therapy
contraindication known severe allergy
caution -clinically significant bleeding -at risk of bleeding -pregnancy
Dose 300mg if age less than 75 75mg if age greater or equal to the age of 75
onset duration 30-60 mins 3-5 days
preparation 75 mg tablets
pharmacokinetics is a prodrug, must be metabolised to the active form in the liver -there are no significant effects from liver impairment on acute administration
