Ticagrelor

Mechanism of action Ticagrelor has antiplatelet activity. It produces reversible inhibition of the ADP receptor on platelets, decreasing platelet aggregation
Indications STEMI, in conjunction with the primary PCI pathway
Contraindication Known severe allergy
Caution (3) -Clinically significant bleeding, Ticagrelor will increase bleeding. -At risk of bleeding. -Pregnancy
Dosage 180mg for an adult Usual preparation 90mg tablets
