TermDefinition
Vestigial structures structures that lost their original function through evolution because it no longer served a purpose to the current form of an organism.
Homologous structures structures that look different on the outside but are anatomically similar on the inside
Embryology the science involved with the study of embryos and their development
Cladogram type of graph that shows common ancestry between different species
Natural Selection how changes in species leads to the survival of an organism. Those organisms who adapt are those who will survive and reproduce.
