What is the function of the oviduct? It is where fertilisation takes place
Which organ allows the exchange of materials between the mother and foetus? Placenta
What is fertilisation? When the nucleus from the sperm fuses with the nucleus from the egg
Which part connects the placenta to the foetus and transports materials? Umbilical cord
What kind of surfaces have less friction? Smoother surfaces.
State 2 ways in which friction is reduced between the moving parts of a bicycle? Ball bearings, lubrication.
Describe how the shape of an object can be changed to reduce drag. Making the front more pointed / Giving it a smoother outline.
What does friction do? Friction tries to stop movement.
