| Nursing Implications for Adrenergic Blockers | Assess for bradycardia, careful with patients with asthma, give when BP above 90 amd HR 60 -100 bpm, avoid OTC meds, never stop abruptly (rebound hypertension), avoid caffeine,avoid ETOH, change positions slowly, fatigue, weight gain <2lbs 1wk report |
