Describe patient care for alcohol abuse. Stay alert for airway problems. Suction if needed. Be alert for mental status changes. Mopnitor vitals. Treat for shock. Protect patient from self injury. Transport.
Describe patient care for hypothermic patient alert and reponding. Remove wet clothing, keep paitent dry and warm. During trasport actively rewarm patient. Give patient warm liquids. Give oxygen at high flow rate, monitor vitals.
Describe patient care for hypothermic unresponsive. Ensure airway. Give high flow warm oxygen via non-rebreather. Wrap in blankets. Transport.
Describe patient care for superfical local cold injury. Get patient out of cold environment. Warm affected area. If to an extermity, splint and cover.

Describe paitent care for heat emergency with moist, pale, normal-to-cool skin. Remove from hot enviroment. Administer oxygen by nonrebreather at 15 liters per min. Loosen or remove clothing. Patient should be supin with legs elevated. Transport.
Describe paitent care for a heat emergency with hot and dry or moist skin. Remove from hot environment. Remove clothing. Apply cool packs to neck, groin and armpits. Give oxygen by nonrebreather at 15L. Transport.
Decribe paitent care for instect bites and stings. Treat for shock. Call medical direction if unknown creature. Remover stinger or venom sac with blade or card. Remove jewelry. Apply constricting bands if on extermity. Keep limb immobilized.
Describe paitent care for a snakebite. Call medical direction. Treat for shock. Locate fang marks and wash with soap and water. Remove jewelry. Keep immobilized. Apply light constricting band above and below. Transport.
