Transparent A type of material that transmits light without scattering it
Translucent A type of material that scatters light as it passes through
Opaque A material that reflects or absorbs all light that strikes it
Diffuse reflection A reaction that happens when parallel rays of light reflects of a uneven surface bouncing in different directions.
Convex A mirror that is curved outward or lensed that is thicker is the center than at the edges
Focal point The point at which light waves parallel to the optical axes meet after being reflected
Concave A mirror with a lense that is thinner in the middle than at the edges
The color black Obsorbs all light
White Reflects all light
Filter A transparent material that can obsorb certain colors
Sismograph A instrument that can record sismetic waves
Sismetic waves Wave that travel through earth materials during a earthquake.
