Common Carotid Artery Split into the internal and external carotid arteries; supplies blood to the head, face and neck:
Internal Carotid Artery Branch of common carotid artery supplies blood to the brain, eyes and forehead:
Supraorbital Branch of internal carotid artery; supplies blood to parts of the forehead and eyes:
External Carotid Artery Branch of common carotid arteries; splits into smaller arteries; supplies blood to skin and muscles of the head:
Internal Jugular Vein Vein that returns all blood from the head, face and neck to the heart:
Occipital Branch of the external carotid artery; supplies blood to back of the head, up to the crown:
Posterior Auricular Branch of the external carotid artery; supplies blood to scalp, above and behind ears:
Superficial Temporal Branch of external carotid; branches into smaller arteries; supplies blood to both sides and top of head:
Frontal Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to the forehead:
Parietal Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to crown and sides of head:
Middle Temporal Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to temples:
Transverse Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to the masseter muscles:
Anterior Auricular Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to anterior part of the ear:
External Maxillary Breaks into smaller branches; supplies blood to lower portion of the face, including the mouth and nose:
Submental Branch of external maxillary; supplies blood to chin and lower lip:
Inferior Labial Branch of external maxillary; supplies blood to lower lip:
Angular Branch of external maxillary; supplies blood to sides of nose:
Superior Labial Branch of external maxillary; supplies blood to upper lip and septum:
Ulnar Supplies blood to little finger side of the forearm and the smaller arteries in the hand:
Radial Radial Supplies blood to thumb side of the arm and hand:
Popliteal Supplies blood to knee joint and muscles in the thigh and calf:
Anterior Tibial Supplies blood to just below the knee; passes down between the tibia and fibula to branch off into smaller arteries into the skin and muscles in the lower leg:
Posterior Tibial Supplies blood beneath calf muscle to the skin, muscles and other tissues of the lower leg:
Dorsalis Pedis Supplies blood to upper surface of the foot:
Saphenous Vein Transports blood from veins in the foot to the femoral artery:
Femoral Vein Transports blood to the heart and lungs for oxygenation:
Lymph Colorless liquid produced as a byproduct in the process of plasma passing nourishment to capillaries and cells:
