What are the 3 C's? Check, Call, Care
What is hypoperfusion? an inadequate supply of blood to body organs, especially the brain and heart
What is an abrasion? where the skin is rubbed or scraped away
What is an incision? a smooth cut caused by a sharp object
What is a laceration? tearing of tissue by force
What is a puncture wound? caused by sharp object such as pin or nail
What is an avulsion? tissue torn/ seperated from body
What is an amputation? a severed body part
How do you treat a closed wound? apply direct pressure, elevate if it does not cause more pain, apply ice
