QuestionAnswer
Anemometers an instrument for measuring the speed of the wind, or of any current of gas.
Wind Vanes measuring wind direction
Barometers measuring atmospheric pressure, used especially in forecasting the weather and determining altitude.
Hygrometers measures humidity, the amount of water vapour in air.
Lightning Detectors detecting the electromagnetic pulse emitted by a lightning strike.
Rain Gauges collects water falling on it and records the change over time in the rainfall depth
Thermometer measures temperature. It can measure the temperature of a solid such as food, a liquid such as water, or a gas such as air.
doppler radar location and speed of winds.
radiosonde thing attached to weather balloon measures pressure, temperature, and relative humidity.
satellites gathers data as they orbit earth. provide information about Earth's clouds, oceans, land and air.wildfires, volcanoes and smoke.
