Force and Motion
| Term | Definition |

| Motion | The action or process of being moved |
| Force | Strength or energy of an object |
| Gravity | The force that pulls us to the center of the Earth and any other physical object with mass |
| Pull | Force that is bringing someone / something toward one |
| Push | Force on someone / something, typically with hands, to force something away from one |
| Friction | The resistance that one surface of an object encounters when moving, slowing it down with rubbing against one another |
| Direction | A course along which someone / something moves |
| Position | A place where someone / something is put |
| Air resistance | A force that is caused by air |
| Inertia | A tendency to do nothing or remain uncharged |
| Speed | Rate of motion or progress |
| Balanced force | When 2 forces on an object are equal |
| Unbalanced force | When a force is stronger then another |
| Mass | The amount of matter that makes up an object, / weight |
