| What is an example of an immovable joint? | The joint where your pelvis connects to your spine |
| What is the function of the muscular system? | To work with bones to help our bodies move. |
| Describe skeletal muscle. | The muscles that are attached to your skeleton. They are striped looking. |
| Describe smooth muscle. | The muscles that are involuntary (like your digestive system). They are wider and smoother. |
| Describe cardiac muscle. | The muscle of your heart. It looks similar to skeletal muscle but it's only found in your heart. |
| How can you keep your muscles healthy? | Eating well and exercising. Your muscles start to decay if you do not work them. |

| How do the muscular and skeletal systems work together? | Muscles contract and pull on the bones to allow your body to move. Muscles are attached to bones by tendons. |
