A small, single dose, glass, with a constricted neck. Break off top with gauze away from yourself. ampule
A single or multiuse glass vial with a sealed rubber top. Wipe the rubber top w/ alcohol. Must inject air into it before withdrawing drug. VIAL
what do you do fefor administering an IM injection? aspiriate
For an adult, what is the length of needles used for IM injection? 1 to 2 inches
Name the IM injection sites: Deltoid, dorsogluteal, vastus lateralis, ventral gluteal
What are the injection sites for SQ? abdomen, thighs, arms,lovehandles
At what angle is an SQ injection done in the regular client (not thin)? 90 degrees
Why are injection sites rotated? to prevent lipoatrophy and lipohypertrophy
