| Mass | Weight of matter |
| Volume | The space matter occupies. |
| Density | Total mass per space |
| Odor | Scent of matter |
| Ductility | How well a material can be stretched without fracture. |
| Malleability | How well a material can be pressed into sheets |
| Conductivity | Conducts heat and electricity |
| Solubility | Ability of a substance to dissolve in water |
| Viscosity | How well a fluid moves |
| Physical Change | Change in size, shape, form, or state of matter in which the matters identity stays the same. |
| Chemical Properties | Characteristic of matter that can be observed as it changes to a different type of matter. |
| Flammability | The ability to burn |
| Reactivity | Readiness to react with other chemicals |
| Chemical Change | Change in matter in which the substances that make up the matter change into other substances with new physical and chemical properties. |
